1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a restaurant account on Compliments to the Chef, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply specifically to restaurant owners and managers using our platform.

2. Restaurant Services

We provide restaurants with tools to manage their online presence, including chef team management, review monitoring, QR code generation for customer reviews, and profile management features.

3. Restaurant Responsibilities

  • • Provide accurate restaurant information and contact details
  • • Maintain current chef team and staff information
  • • Respect customer reviews and feedback
  • • Use QR codes responsibly and only at your establishment
  • • Comply with all local food service regulations
  • • Not manipulate or artificially inflate reviews

4. Chef Team Management

You are responsible for managing chef access to your restaurant profile. You can approve or reject chef requests to join your team.

By adding chefs to your team, you allow them to be tagged in customer reviews and to post content associated with your restaurant.

5. QR Code Terms

QR codes generated for your restaurant are for exclusive use at your establishment. You may:

  • • Print and display QR codes at your restaurant tables
  • • Use them to facilitate customer reviews
  • • Replace or update them as needed

You may not share QR codes with other establishments or use them for purposes other than collecting reviews for your restaurant.

6. Customer Reviews

Customer reviews are public and reflect individual customer experiences. You cannot edit or delete customer reviews, but you may contact us if a review violates our community guidelines or contains false information.

7. Prohibited Activities

Restaurants may not:

  • • Create fake customer accounts or reviews
  • • Incentivize customers to leave only positive reviews
  • • Impersonate other restaurants or businesses
  • • Use the platform to spam or harass users
  • • Violate any local business or health regulations

8. Account Termination

Either party may terminate the restaurant account at any time. If your account is terminated, your restaurant profile and associated data will be removed, but existing customer reviews may remain on the platform as historical records.

9. Data and Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle restaurant and customer data.

10. Limitation of Liability

We provide this platform as a service to help restaurants connect with customers. We are not responsible for the accuracy of customer reviews or any business outcomes resulting from your use of our platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Restaurant users will be notified of significant changes via email or through the dashboard.
